Known as one of the most recognizable logos, the famous interlocking “C” logo might not be on Chanel’s products today had it not been for Lagerfeld. The designer modernized the label when he took over as artistic director in 1983, decided to put the now-iconic logo on all Chanel garments and accessories.

Chanel’s fashion shows are known not just for clothes but for jaw-dropping sets. In 2014, Lagerfeld delivered the Chanel supermarket themed supermarket for womenswear Autumn/Winter 2014-2015 catwalk.
