Lebron James Taps Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack To Design T-Shirt For Charity
Travis Scott’s Midas touch over music is undeniable, but his success in fashion is iconic. He’s a young artist whose collaborations and merchandise sell out within minutes and fetch four-figure numbers on the resale market. Scott has now used his influence over fashion for a good cause, for a good friend.
Basketball star and philanthropist Lebron James asked Travis Scott to design a special t-shirt, ahead of James’ Graduate Together 2020 TV special.
The Cactus Jack-designed, light blue crewneck t-shirt, dubbed the ‘Class of 2020 Graduation T-shirt,’ features hand-drawn company logos on the rear, beneath a stylized image of figures holding hands around the globe, with a “Class of 2020” verbiage above.
Part of the proceeds will go towards Feeding Texas, which supports local food banks and families in need in Scott’s native state of Texas. The rest will benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation, which is helping organize the Graduate Together TV special and yearbook. The special boasts of an incredible lineup which includes some of the world’s most notable names. The lineup includes Barack Obama, Malala, Pharrell Williams, Kevin Hart, Zendaya, Jonas Brothers, Timothée Chalamet, and more.
