Paris Fashion Week is set to start again in September.
The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has confirmed the event. It will take place from September 28 October 6, which makes the first European center to confirm the upcoming Spring/Summer ’21 shows. It also added that the event “will comply for its implementation with to the recommendations of public authorities.” The physical fashion week will be run alongside a specially-created online platform. Other details such as participating brands haven’t been announced yet.
Coronavirus pandemic has lead to cancellation of many events. London Fashion Week was showcased digitally few days ago. Many brands have been opting out of fashion calendars such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Michael Kors, while Burberry announced an outdoor fashion show in September.
Pitti Uomo and Milan Fashion Week are also set to take place in September.
