Monday mornings after a weekend of partying and boozy shenanigans might seem like a herculean task. You are late, head’s groggy and your face looks like death. You don’t know where to begin, right? So, we bring you a quick guide to cleaning up and getting spiffy in, well, a jiffy.

Duration: Whole-body grooming in less than 30 minutes.

 

FACE

You need a scrub to clean up the grime and party sweat. Follow it with a cooling face wash (mint and activated charcoal are your best friends) and lock it down with a moisturizer. Yes, it’s that easy. This routine shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes.

 

BODY

Make sure you set time aside for a good lather. Follow that up with a flash check of nails and hands. If you can moisturise your whole body, that’s great. If not, at least your hands. Do an ear and nose hair check too. Deodorize. Wear a good perfume. This shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes either.

 

BEARD

Check the watch and your mug. If you have time for a shave, cool. If you don’t, vroom up the trimmer and shape your stubble. If you have been growing a fuzz for a while, use a beard wax to control and shape. If you’ve shaved, a quick aftershave balm or cream is a good idea. Don’t worry, this routine doesn’t take more than 3 minutes.

 

HAIR

Okay, let’s get down to business. If your hair is a big ol’ mess and you don’t have the time to wash and style, use a dry shampoo, drink your smoothie, come back, and run a soft hold gel through your hair and you are done. This is a 2-minute quick remedy. If you have 10 minutes to spare, a quick wash and condition is a great idea (you get 3-in-1 products these days that wash-condition-moisturize). Follow that with a hair wax or pomade (ideally one with tea tree or argan oil to fight the dehydration of the weekend) and style quickly with a blow dryer.
