Onitsuka Tiger has come up with a limited-edition sneaker in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video to celebrate the release of its upcoming film Cinderella.

We all know the plot of Cinderella but this film has a modern take on the traditional tale. Camila Cabello plays the lead role of a new Cinderella who is ambitious and works hard to make her dreams come true. In sync with the next generation image of women and the message of diversity promoted in the film, Onitsuka Tiger created this sneaker based on a novel interpretation of the glass slipper that allows anyone to be the protagonist in any situation, without being limited to the stereotype.

P-TRAINER PRZMTM from the Onitsuka Tiger Contemporary Collection is used for this iconic collaboration, where the prismatic colours, reminiscent of the glass slipper, and are used on the entire upper of the sneaker to create a mirror-like glossy effect. The design is made in a way that it complements every style.

The impactful platform sole is decorated with the brand’s symbolic Onitsuka Tiger Stripes and the iconic tiara from the movie features on the heel top, and the shoe-brand’s logo and movie title are on the shoe
tongue label and insole.

The brand has also produced a special shoebox and a shopper featuring the graphic design of the tiara.
A Limited number of 800 pairs will be available globally from September. The Limited edition P-TRAINER
PRZM is retailing at INR 16,999 and only eighteen pairs will be availiable at Onitsuka Tigers store In DLF Promenade New Delhi.

Earlier this month, Amazon Prime Video unveiled a two-and-a-half-minute first trailer for its modern musical take on the traditional fairytale that marked the acting debut of Cabello. In addition to Cabello,  the film also stars Nicholas Galitzine, Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, James Corden and among many others.

Cinderella is out September 3 on Prime Video in India and around the world.
