Kross Studio X THE BATMAN
Kross Studio expands its ongoing partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to launch two new projects celebrating the upcoming Batman movie. It includes a new 10-piece limited-edition “The Batman” collector set and a new series of “The Batman”-themed watch rolls. The former will consist of a Batman Tourbillon watch and an illuminated Bat-Signal functional art piece. At the same time, the latter will feature four designs inspired by the iconic DC characters from the film, like Batman (two editions), Selina Kyle (Catwoman) and The Riddler. The new watch rolls will be each sold separately at USD 250.
The new wristwatch embodies Batman with its dark and ultra-precise movement. The watch’s design features a 45mm Grade 5 Titanium case protected by a black DLC treatment with a dome-shaped anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Inside the case structure lies a new version of Kross Studio’s in-house developed and produced caliber KS 7’000. A mechanical hand-wound 3 Hz caliber with a power reserve of 5 days. It also features a central tourbillon cage that is presented as a bat emblem in the centre of the black dial.
Like the technologically advanced movement, the dial uniquely displays the time. The hour hand is affixed to the peripheral display mechanism orbiting 360° around the tourbillon, and the minutes’ hands are displayed on the disk and make one revolution per hour. Additionally, the unique and straightforward to work D-ring crown sitting on the caseback and the Time Set push-button at 3 o’clock makes the watch comfortable to wear.
The Kross Studio “The Batman” Tourbillon watch is available in three strap options; a black calf leather strap embossed with the pattern of Batman’s armour, a black rubber strap with black stitching and a red rubber strap with red stitching. With each of this 10-piece limited edition watch, Kross Studio also includes a functional Bat-Signal art piece that illuminates, further immersing the collector to the universe of Gotham City and The Batman.
“The Batman” Collector sets (USD 100,000 each) and “The Batman” collectable watch rolls (250 USD each) are available for individual sale here or through official partners and select authorized retailers.
