Apple has finally announced the long-awaited iPhone 12 launch event for 2020. The virtual event is scheduled to take place on October 13 in the Steve Jobs Theatre on their Californian campus at 10:30 pm IST.
The official invitations had a “Hi, Speed!” tagline attached to it, which left tech experts bewildered about Apple’s intentions. The tagline could point towards Apple’s new A14 chipset, but it might be hinting at the new iPhone’s rumoured, super-fast 5G capabilities.
Apart from the iPhone 12, the tech giant is also rumoured to launch an updated of range of its other products in its tech catalgoue. According to CNET, a smaller HomePod smart speaker, over-ear headphones, an all-new Apple TV streaming box, and a tile-like location tracking device can also be possibly showcased at the virtual event.
Yes, you can read into Apple event slogans and taglines. “Speed” is very likely referring to new iPhones.
As for Apple event invite imagery hinting at specific products, that is more up for debate.
