The next-gen of Apple’s phones, the iPhone 13, is expected to hit markets very soon. Ahead of the launch, eagle-eyed tech fanatics believe they have spotted the new notch-less design in an Apple TV+ Original.

In the sixth episode of the show Ted Lasso, titled The Signal of season two, fans have spotted a phone on the bed without a notch that has been present since iPhone X. Apple is known to place its products in its shows and it would not be odd for Apple to use the much-beloved series to promote its latest line.

Many are speculating it to be the upcoming iPhone that is said to at least feature a smaller notch. It could also be a prototype smartphone, therefore readers must take the information with a pinch of salt. Apple is also known to use CGI liberally in its shows, and features of its upcoming launches, private, so there is a good chance that even if this is, in fact, the next iPhone, it is there to mislead.

A separate photo is doing rounds on the internet that shows the iPhone with dual rear cameras and flat edges, indicating it to be the regular iPhone 13. However, this contradicts older reports that claimed the dual rear cameras would be placed diagonally to each other instead of stacked vertically. It is also possible that the phone in question is the regular iPhone 12, as Ted Lasso’s team could have added an artificial overlay onto digital displays in post-production.

The lineup might get launched on September 14 and the pre-orders could kick start as soon as September 17. Apple will launch four models in its next-gen iPhone lineup, which includes the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple is also speculated to unveil the AirPods 3 on September 30.
