Thanks To AirPods, You Can Now Eavesdrop On People
Here’s how to use your Apple AirPods to eavesdrop on people
Over the weekend, the internet discovered AirPods’ newest feature. And it’s snooping on people.
AirPods released in 2016 and since then people couldn’t help but fall head over heels for this amazing tech. But there’s more to AirPods than meets the eye.
And, just like other stories, it started with a tweet:
If u have AirPods 🎧, u can press “Live Listen” to “On” and leave your phone in the room with someone and u can hear what they saying, thank me later🤫 pic.twitter.com/fC6KYmqpB4

Originally, this feature was aimed at helping those with hearing impairment as well as let people have a conversation in a noisy area. But, the internet has other plans and that is to unleash their inner-Sherlock.
How to Live Listen:
Firstly, connect your AirPods to your Apple device with Bluetooth.
Then, tap on Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls > Hearing. To activate Live Listen, swipe up from the home screen to the Control Center and tap the icon with the ear on it.
Voila, now, you can turn on Live Listen. Just place your phone where the tea is about to spill. Then, watch the drama unfold because the internet just can’t help itself.
