Highest-Paid Indian Cricketers In 2023

The BCCI has confirmed the annual contract for the cricketers for 2023. A total of 26 players were awarded annual retainers across four groups.

Ishan Kishan, Arshdeep Singh, and Deepak Hooda were awarded the annual contracts for the first time. All of them were pooled in Grade C.

KL Rahul was demoted to Grade B, alongside Cheteshwar Pujara, Shreyas Iyer, and Shubman Gill amongst others.

Four players were awarded the elite A+ contract, and they will be earning a lucrative figure of INR 7 crore per year.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the first two names in the A+ contract, as has been the case for years now.

Jasprit Bumrah's inclusion in the A+ list came as surprise to many, since he is out of action for a long time and is unlikely to feature in the World Cup.

Ravindra Jadeja has also been promoted to an A+ contract for the first time in his career.
