AfghanistanAt 37, Mohammad Nabi is the oldest captain in the T20I World Cup 2022. Afghanistan has picked up a very young squad, and they will play under Nabi, who himself is a good finisher and an economical spinner.

New ZealandTim Southee, 33, will pair up with his good friend Trent Boult to lead New Zealand's pace attack in the tournament. Southee will primarily bowl in the Powerplay, where he will look to capitalise on early movements.

AustraliaDavid Warner was rested for the T20I series against India as a safety measure. Warner, along with Aaron Finch, form the oldest opening pair in the tournament. Australia would hope for a good return from Warner, just like the last year.
