The Mulliner can do 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds and seriously ups the ante on performance luxury cars
As if the Bentley Continental GT wasn’t drool-worthy enough, the British brand has decided to up the ante even further with the Continental GT Mulliner. Introduced as the top-of-the-line variant, the grand tourer is all set to make its public debut at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which starts today.
In terms of appearance, the Mulliner is an absolute head turner! I mean, it’s a Bentley after all. Overall it carries the same design elements as the base Continental GT, but with a few highlights. For instance, at the front sits a Double Diamond matrix grille, which looks rather chic. Then, there are the Mulliner-badged air intakes, illuminated outer door sills and more. Also new here are the 22-inch wheels, with a unique alloy wheel design.
Things get fancier when you sit inside. The first thing you’ll notice is the double diamond quilting upholstery, which is part of the Mulliner Driving Specification package. There are other unique elements here as well, like a bespoke Breitling clock and a sketch of the car’s silhouette on the passenger side.
Sitting above the Speed, Azure and S variants, the Mulliner is offered with a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 motor, which churns out 659PS of power and 900Nm of torque, the most in the Continental GT lineup. This helps it in sprinting a distance of 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds, and a top speed of 335kmph!
To make sure you remain grounded though, the top-shelf variant comes with a whole host of electronics. This includes all-wheel steering, Dynamic Ride Control, ceramic brakes and Variable Stability Control (ESC)! All of this can be fine-tuned with the help of different driving modes like, Bentley, Comfort and Sport.
