BMW Motorrad has launched the R18 — its first flagship cruiser motorcycle in India.

The R18 draws styling inspiration from the 1965 R5, but BMW has also made sure to retain the vintage and retro design elements. It follows your typical cruiser design language with its long wheelbase, and a low stance. But a design choice that truly stands out is the chrome-finished, exaggerated exhaust. If you’re ready to pay a bit more and book the First Edition R18, you’ll receive a few more exterior additions along with features like cornering lights and heated grips.

The R18 draws power from the largest boxer-twin engine BMW has ever manufactured. The 1,802cc engine generates 91 bhp and 157 Nm of peak torque. Features like ABS and stability control come standard.

Prices  for the BMW R18 start from Rs 18.90 lakh for the Standard edition and goes up to Rs 21.90 lakh for the First Edition.
