New Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Record A 0-100kph Time Of 3.2 Seconds
Meet the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, an all-new lighter and faster version of the standard Huracan
Lamborghini has unveiled an all-new version of the Huracan recently. Called the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, the rear-wheel-drive supercar gets a whole host of changes over the standard car, both on the outside and inside. The Huracan Tecnica will sit between the Huracan EVO and the STO
The Huracan Tecnica seems to be inspired by the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 hypercar. However, there are a few visual cues that seem to be borrowed from the company’s 2019 Terzo Millennio concept.
Don’t be mistaken but the Huracan Tecnica is not just a looker. You’ll notice a copious amount of carbon fibre being on the bonnet and rear engine cover, and aluminium and other lightweight materials are used for panels in order to keep the weight down.
As a result, the Tecnica weighs 1,379kg, 10kg lighter than the rear-driven Evo. Special attention has been paid to the aerodynamic package as well, with 35 percent more downforce momentum than the Evo, while managing to reduce the drag by 20 percent.
Powering the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is a 5.2-litre V10 petrol motor, also seen on the Huracan STO. It produces 640hp and 565Nm of torque, and is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Tecnica is also light on its feet, with 0-100kph coming up in just 3.2 seconds, and it has a top speed of 325km.
To keep it grounded, Lamborghini has equipped the supercar with its Vehicle Dynamics system (LDVI) and a bespoke Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS).
Considering Lamborghini sells both the Huracan Evo (Rs 3.21 crore) and STO (Rs 4.99 crore), we expect it to bring the Tecnica to India. This, however, may be a bit of a wait as the car is not expected to go on sale before late 2022.
