Mahindra BE 6 Dark Edition – Teased ahead of August 15 unveil
Mahindra is building hype for its Independence Day mega event with a teaser of what appears to be a Dark Edition of the BE 6 electric SUV. Expect an all-black treatment inside and out, possibly with two-tone detailing, based on the top-spec variant. This would be Mahindra’s first EV Dark Edition, likely followed by the XEV 9e. Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe Launched At ₹1.35 crore
Mercedes-Benz has added some spice to its India line-up with the AMG CLE 53 Coupe, a 449hp, 560Nm twin-turbo straight-six beast that does 0-100kph in 4.2 seconds. Inside, you get AMG-specific touches like an Alcantara steering wheel, red stitching, and a Burmester sound system, while outside it packs the full 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive punch. It sits above the CLE 300 Cabriolet and faces the BMW M2 on performance, but with a heftier price tag.
Citroen C3 X Shine Launched At ₹7.91 lakh
Citroen has shuffled its C3 deck with new range-topping Shine trims, available with either an 82hp NA petrol or a 110hp turbo-petrol. Dual-tone paint is standard on the turbo, optional on the NA, and a 360-degree camera is available at extra cost. There’s a new Garnet Red colour, upgraded interior trims, and extra kit like keyless entry, push-button start, and cruise control on the Turbo-AT.
Skoda Kylaq Limited Edition Starts From ₹11.25 lakh
Celebrating 25 years in India, Skoda’s rolling out just 500 units of the Kylaq Limited Edition.

KTM 160 Duke Launched At ₹1.85 lakh
KTM’s most affordable Duke yet packs the most power in its class, with a 19hp, 164.2cc single in a 147kg package. Borrowing its chassis, suspension and even headlamp from the 200 Duke, it’s a sharp-handling streetfighter with premium hardware like WP suspension, dual discs, a 5-inch LCD and LED lighting. It goes head-to-head with the Yamaha MT-15, offering a slight power edge.
Kawasaki KLX230 Gets A Massive Price; Now Priced At ₹1.3 lakh
A massive Rs 1.3 lakh price cut makes the KLX230 far more tempting for off-road enthusiasts. The localisation effort brings not just the lower price but larger brakes and revised suspension travel. Its 233cc single makes 19hp and 19Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. There’s also the KLX230R S for pure trail riding, stripped of road gear but lighter and more focused.
