If variety is the spice of life, this week in automotive launches was a vindaloo. Lamborghini dropped its wildest hypercar yet, BMW rolled out a 50th anniversary salute, Lexus fine-tuned its luxury hybrid, Toyota got playful with a sportier Camry, and Harley-Davidson brought back an icon with extra muscle. Here’s your round-up of what mattered.
Lamborghini Fenomeno Unveiled
Lamborghini has revealed its most powerful model to date, the Fenomeno, a track-focused hypercar based on the Revuelto flagship. Limited to just 29 units, each priced at £3 million (over ₹35.59 crore), the Fenomeno is already sold out. It joins Lamborghini’s ‘Few Off’ programme alongside legends like the Sesto Elemento, Veneno and Centenario.
The Fenomeno’s design borrows from the Countach, Temerario and Essenza SCV12, with a low-slung front, racing intakes, S-duct roof channel, and Y-shaped rear lights. Inside, carbon fibre dominates, paired with three digital screens and endless personalisation options. Power comes from a 6.5-litre V12 paired with three electric motors, producing 1,080hp. That means 0-100kph in 2.4 seconds and a top speed north of 350kph.
BMW 3 Series LWB 50 Jahre Edition Launched
Price: Rs 64 lakh
BMW India has launched the 330Li M Sport and M340i ‘50 Jahre Edition’ to mark 50 years of the 3 Series. Limited to 50 units each, the 330Li is priced at ₹64 lakh while the M340i costs ₹76.90 lakh. Both get gloss-black trim elements, unique badging, carbon fibre interior touches, and exclusive paint options.
Engines remain unchanged: the 330Li gets a 258hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol while the M340i retains its 374hp, 3.0-litre straight-six. Buyers of the M340i also get an M Performance Key Fob and a 1:18 scale model of the BMW 3.0 CSL, because memorabilia matters.
Lexus NX Gets Updated For 2025
Price: Rs 68.02 lakh
The updated Lexus NX has arrived with better efficiency, added insulation, and E20 fuel compliance. Prices remain unchanged at ₹68.02 lakh. Exterior additions include two new paint shades – Radiant Red and White Nova – while the cabin benefits from upgraded noise insulation, improved air filters, and more efficient climate control.
The 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain carries forward, but fuel efficiency now climbs to 20.26kpl from the earlier 16–17kpl estimate, making it one of the most efficient luxury SUVs in its class.
Toyota Camry Sprint Edition Launched
Price: Rs 48.50 lakh
Toyota has introduced the Camry Sprint Edition at ₹48.50 lakh, based on the existing Elegance trim but with dealer-level cosmetic and feature upgrades. It comes in five exterior shades, each paired with a matte black bonnet, roof and boot, along with bumper extensions, a rear spoiler and blacked-out alloys.
The interior sees ambient lighting and puddle lamps added, while the 230hp 2.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain remains unchanged. Toyota claims 0-100kph in 7.2 seconds and a class-leading 25.4kpl mileage figure.
Harley Davidson Street Bob 117 Launched
Price: Rs 18.77 lakh
Harley-Davidson has brought back the Street Bob to India at ₹18.77 lakh. Now packing the bigger 117CI (1,923cc) V-Twin from Harley’s big cruiser line-up, it delivers 91hp and a massive 156Nm of torque. A six-speed gearbox sends power to the rear wheel, while suspension and braking remain simple but effective.
Visually, the Street Bob sticks to its classic low-slung silhouette, mini ape-hanger bars and slimmed-down proportions, with the only major change being a new chromed two-into-one exhaust. It may be Harley’s “entry-level” big cruiser, but there’s nothing modest about the way it looks or rides.
