The Mercedes-AMG GT XX electric concept has rewritten endurance history, covering 5,479km in 24 hours at the Nardo test track in Italy. Over eight days, it even circled Earth’s circumference of 40,075km. With 1,360hp, 360kph top speed and three axial flux motors, this AMG is a glimpse of the brand’s first all-electric performance car.

Maruti Suzuki has begun production of its first electric car in India, the e Vitara, at its Hansalpur plant in Gujarat. Available with 49kWh and 61kWh battery packs and an expected range of 500km+, the SUV will be exported to 100+ countries. Loaded with features like a panoramic display, 7 airbags and Level 2 ADAS, the e Vitara is Maruti’s bold step into India’s growing EV market.

Offering a 158km IDC range from its 3.1kWh battery, the Orbiter comes with cruise control, hill-hold assist, connected features and a spacious 34-litre storage.
