Joe Jonas Opens Up About Using Injectables For Skin Enhancement
Joe Jonas Admits To Using Injectables At 33 To Tackle ‘Aging’

Joe Jonas also announced his collaboration with the injectable brand Xeomin

Joe Jonas is aging like fine wine. And sure, while he might not look as young as in his Camp Rock days, the actor surely knows how to make heads turn. Currently, in his 30s, the actor is irrefutably at the top of his grooming game. His secret, you ask? Well, it boils down to using injectables to get rid of the fine lines and other signs of aging.

“We’re all getting older and part of that is being comfortable [in our skin],” Jonas articulated while addressing why he partnered with Xeomin — a cosmetic injectable – for its new “Beauty on Your Terms” campaign. “I don’t think it’s necessarily something that we have to shy away from. We can be open and honest about it and be confident and not shy away from speaking our truth,” he told PEOPLE.

The 33-year-old singer enthused, “I personally care a lot about what I put in my body, and with an aesthetic treatment like this, I wanted to be mindful of what was in it.” Jonas also revealed that it was only after multiple rounds of discussion with the brand, and his own healthcare provider, that he decided to go ahead with the collaboration.

“I liked that it relieved the area a little bit and I was like, ‘Okay, this is great,’ without it being too much for my liking,” he says, adding, “I appreciated that it wasn’t over the top. It’s very light.” Jonas then talked about how he surrounds himself with people who encourage him to be whoever he wants to be and that helps him experiment with his style and skin routine.

“There were all these talks at one point, like, ‘Oh, men can’t do this or it’s weird for guys to do that,’ and I think there’s a stigma that’s fading, and I like that. Guys are more openly wearing makeup, and it’s great to see. It’s like, do whatever you want, you know? It’s a beautiful generation that we’re living in,” averred Joe Jonas. Needless to say, the singer is now putting more emphasis on self-care and sinking into the next chapter of his life, which includes taking care of his hair and skin and learning when to slow down.
