Karan Johar turned a year older on May 25th. Known for his love for being extra, the filmmaker made sure his special day was nothing short of an extravagant gala. Karan Johar’s 50th birthday was a starry affair and had in attendance all the names in Bollywood: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Hrithik Roshan and more, all of whom showed up in their most stylish ensembles. 

As Farah Khan mentioned in her caption, it was a Met Gala event of its own. Let’s start with the stunning ladies who showed up. Tabu, Twinkle Khanna and Sonali Bendre made heads turn with their gorgeous outfits. Bendre and Khanna walked in wearing pant-suits. Tabu and Vaani Kapoor were the ladies in blue as the former wore a shimmery saree, and Kapoor opted for a sequinned dress. KJo’s BFFs, Rani Mukerji and Kajol Devgn, added some bling to the evening. Preity Zinta, Salman Khan, Neetu Kapoor with Ranbir Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan with Saba Azad also caught everyone’s attention.

Johar’s students, and we mean Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan upped the glam quotient of the party. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor looked exquisite. Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi were also present and they certainly made a good-looking couple.

What is a KJo party without his girls? Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, Gauri Khan and Maheep Kapoor brought style to Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash. Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Farah Khan, Riteish Deshmukh with Genelia D’Souza and Sussanne Khan with Arslan Goni also made statement appearances. 

Well, the list of stars is a long one but from the looks of it, the bash was a superhit. Johar also announced that he will soon direct his first-ever action movie, the shooting for which will begin in April 2023, after the release of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani that will come out in February 2023.
