From romantic ballads to peppy numbers that light up a party, Bhattacharya’s words have given meaning to many tunes. Here’s a playlist curated by us, to help you rediscover his work.

Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin

This song from the 2012-release, Agneepath, starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, manages to give us goosebumps, every time we listen to it.  Veteran singer Sonu Nigam’s voice only makes it better.

Raabta

A part of the OST from Agent Vinod, this track is possibly an anthem for the broken-hearted. With Arijit Singh  and Shreya Ghoshal lending their voices to the tune, this one is playing on loop for us.

One of Bhattacharya’s best, according to us, Mast Magan appeared in the film, Two States, which was released in 2014 and was based on author Chetan Bhagat’s eponymous novel. It has been sung by Arjit Singh and Chinmayi Sripada.

Ilahi

A road trip is not complete unless this song is a part of the playlist. The catchy song was perfectly penned down by Bhattacharya for the movie, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

Zehnaseeb

This is like Bhattarcharjee’s ode to love. He penned this song for the movie Hasee Toh Phasee and while it’s not as popular as the other tunes mentioned here, it’s totally worth a listen.
