Spider-Man: No Way Home starring Tom Holland is one of those Marvel films that fans are eagerly waiting for. After Iron Man’s death in Avenger’s Endgame, everyone wants to know how Spider-Man aka Peter Parker deals with the loss and moves ahead in his life. On Monday (August 23), the trailer was available for anyone to watch. After being hounded online about releasing the first trailer, Sony and Disney were at a loss when an extremely rough cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home promo leaked online. Twitter was abuzz with discussion about the trailer, spoiling the experience for many.

Sony acted quickly on the issue and various videos were taken down from YouTube and other platforms with the message, “This video contains content from Sony Pictures Movie and Shows, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.” Tom Holland also shared a cryptic post saying, “You Ain’t Ready.”

Hours after the mishap, Sony and Marvel officials released the trailer of the film. Regardless of the leak, the buzz around the trailer was massive and people were surprised to see what Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch’s film had in store for them. Doctor Octopus, Electro and even Green Goblin will be returning back in this film. Rumour has it that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield might also return in Spider-Man: No Way Home but there was no sign of them in the trailer.

According to an exclusive report by Fandom Wire, Maguire and Garfield have officially signed on to appear in the film. A source very close to Sony had told FW about the new deal. “The film will in fact create the first live-action Spider-Verse. Both Maguire and Garfield will appear in Tom Holland’s universe during the final act to help defeat all of the Spider-Men’s combined foes,” read the report. The Marvel will release in theatres on December 17.
