Bigg Boss OTT has premiered on the streaming platform Voot.
To make a good thing better, Malaika Arora made an appearance, dancing to the song Param Sundari, as was teased by Voot over social media.
She then helped Karan Johar with his hosting duties, helping the female contestants choose a male partner to stay connected with for the duration of the show. She had various tasks for the boys. At one point, she made Nishant Bhatt and Karan Nath pole dance on stage.
Since the show has started and can be seen 24X7, one contestant that has been catching the eye is Urfi Javed.
The actress, who feels ‘surreal’ about entering the Bigg Boss house, revealed “I have been a big Bigg Boss fan since my childhood. So, there was no way I would have said no. Which mad person will say no to Bigg Boss? It was always a yes for me, ever since my childhood.”

Talking about her game plan, she said, “I have fifty strategies but I’m not going to reveal them,” adding, “I’m a very friendly person. I have no interest in making enemies, unless and until someone tries to become my enemy. So, I think I will get along with everyone.”
This new OTT format will allow the audience to watch the contestants live at all times in the day. When asked if she is comfortable with facing the camera 24X7, said Javed, “No one is comfortable with being watched 24X7. But now that I’ve said yes to Bigg Boss, I will have to do it. Now we will have to see what happens.”
Controversies are in the very nature of the show. When asked if she is vary of them, she said, “Inside the house, we will not get to know about controversies, we will just be talking to each other. For us it will be a normal day and outside it might be a huge controversy that we will not know about. So I will not even think about it going into the house. We will deal with them when we come out.”
Born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, 25-year-old Urfi Javed has quite the social media following. The young actress was first seen on television at the age of 20 with Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania as Avni Pant.
Then, from 2016 to 2017, she played Chhaya in Chandra Nandini and then portrayed the role of Aarti in Meri Durga. She was also a part of Jiji Maa as Shravani Purohit/ Piyali Sehgal and and Nandini in Daayan.
The actress has also been seen on shows such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Aye Mere Humsafar. Javed became known after her role in the serial Bepannah and Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Before working as an actress, she worked as an assistant fashion designer in Delhi. Her being a student of fashion is apparent in her distinct style and the ease with which she seems to DIY elaborate outfits.
