Akshay Kumar Did Not Reduce His Fee By Rs 30 Crore For Bell Bottom
Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom has been surrounded with controversies ever since the film was announced. From its release date to its script, rumours about the film surfaced from time to time, and the team of the film has been addressing all of them, disming any false information about the film. In the same attempt, Kumar has now cleared the air about whether he reduced his fee for the film or not.
Kumar shared a news article, which claimed that he has reduced his fee for the film, and wrote, “What waking up to FAKE Scoops feels like!,” adding eye-rolling emojis. The producer of the film, Vashu Bhagnani, also shared “No Truth to this news at all.” The news report suggested that the actor gave an discount of 30 crores to Bhagnani as they are very close friends.

A lot of rumours around the release date of Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and Bell Bottom have surfaced online from time to time. It was being said that Kumar’s films might possibly release on Independence Day, but the actor addressed the rumours and shared an update about his upcoming films a few weeks ago.
Akshay Kumar issued a statement which read, “I’m humbled at the excitement and eagerness of my fans regarding the release of Sooryavanshi and Bell Bottom, and want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for all their love. However, at this point, it is purely speculative to say that both films will release on Independence Day. The producers of both films are working out the release dates and will make announcements at the right time.”
Bell Bottom is a spy thriller set in the 80s where the audience will get to see the actor play the lead role of a RAW agent. The film also features Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. Directed by Ranjit Tiwari, the film is backed by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani. Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani are co-producing the movie.
