Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry created a stir when they announced their exit from the royal family last year. The two have been surrounded by controversies ever since. She was recently accused of bullying her staff members while being a part of the British Royal family at the Kensington Palace. The accusation came before her televised interview with Oprah Winfrey.

These accusations brought Markle into the limelight again, but this time, her Suits co-star Patrick J Adams made sure he lends his support. Adams, who essayed the role of Mike in Suits, called out the ‘archaic and toxic’ dynamics of the royal family in a series of tweets, and slammed them for making the Duchess an easy target every time.

In one of the tweets, the actor wrote, “She fell in love, moved to a new country, became a household name across the entire globe and began the difficult work of trying to find her place in a family dynamic that can at best be described as complicated and at worst, seemingly archaic and toxic.” He called Markle an ‘enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful, and supportive’ person, and said that he is disheartened to see that the hunt to bring down the Duchess continued even after she and Prince Harry welcomed their first baby.

He added, “It’s OBSCENE that the Royal Family, who’s newest member is currently GROWING INSIDE OF HER, is promoting and amplifying accusations of “bullying” against a woman who herself was basically forced to flea the UK in order protect her family and her own mental health (sic).”

The royal couple sat down for the interview with Winfrey on March 8, where the Duchess has made some shocking revelations about the Royal family. One of the key takeaways from the interview was how Markle was questioned if her baby would be dark after birth, and it has enraged her supporters.
