‘Slept With Over 200 People I’d Never Imagined Being With”: Jennifer Coolidge On ‘Benefits’ After Iconic MILF Role In American Pie
Coolidge believes the movie turbocharged her sexual life in unbelievably amazing ways.
While Jennifer Coolidge’s portrayal of Sophie Kuchinsky in Two Broke Girls might be one of her most loved roles yet, it is not the first desirous, phenomenal hot character that she has played on screen. Case in point: Her role as Jeanine Stifler a.k.a. the resident hot mom in American Pie is still considered iconic by many fans– for some really interesting reasons!
Interestingly, the role did wonders for the star as well, and not just monetarily. Coolidge recently revealed that she’s “slept with approximately 200 people” due to her infamous role in the 1999 movie. She asserted that the role brought her more satisfaction than just fame.
“I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from ‘American Pie,’” she said. “There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
Conferred with the MILF status, however, Coolidge has moved on to shed the image and get cast in the best role of her career. Tanya in Mike White’s The White Lotus, according to her, was “one of the greatest things that ever happened to me,” and “a killer job that no one else thought I could do.”
Jennifer Coolidge also confessed that she did not want to take up the role, but went ahead only because the White Lotus creator convinced her to be a part of the series. She’s now gearing up for its sophomore season, which airs in October 2022. She also has been nominated for an Emmy for her role in the HBO show.
“I have done one thing really right in my life,” she said. “I’ve picked great friends. If Mike was never successful, and we just did ‘White Lotus’ as a play in a little theatre where everyone paid 10 bucks to see it, it would still be one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. Because it was a killer job that no one else thought I could do,” she added.
